sometimes get on their upper arms and shoulders. They call them stretch marks. Their face often has this blown-up look. The point is, their overall appearance is not what even a non-medical person would say looks 'normal.' From their appearance you would figure something must be wrong, especially if you could see them side-by-side with the average ‘normal’ person.
Now, suppose you are this hypothetical Alien (from another galaxy) looking over this young population on Planet Earth for the first time. You might then say, upon suddenly coming across one of these ‘Cushing Disease’ people,
---...“What’s wrong with that one? He [or she] looks different from all the other people you’ve shown me. Is there something ‘wrong’ with that one?...Is that one ‘sick’?”
---Okay, put the 'Cushing Disease' person in the back of your mind, and let’s go on to another 'disease,' remembering that there’s all kinds of variations and rates of progression of ‘disease,’ so appearances are hardly always the same.
---...Take a person whose eyeballs look like they're protruding or bulging out somewhat, not a lot. You can sometimes see the whites of the eyes both above and below the colored part or iris of the eye. At an early stage (of a 'disease' I'm going to mention) you might think to yourself, “This person has big eyes,” which is often a sign, ironically, of 'beauty,' and especially when it comes to a woman's big eyes.
---But as this particular sign, 'bulging eyes,' appears to come in more severe varieties, for you, as the Alien, might come across a person with a more advanced degree of bulging. And so you say, “What’s wrong with that one?...The eyes of that one doesn’t look normal. Is that one sick or something...Is that one 'diseased'?” And actually, bulging eyes can often occur with the 'disease' called 'hyperthyroidism.'
---Or how about suddenly coming across a person with marked deformity of the hands, the knuckles all knotted, the fingers crooked, to the point they can hardly even use their hands. You’re the Alien now, remember. But you’re also not a medical doctor diagnosing and treating humans. As a matter of fact, you’ve never seen humans before until recently, and to boot, you’re only being shown the ‘younger ones,’ the ones who haven’t been around or alive obviously for as long as the ones over about age forty-five.
---Having been shown enough ‘normal’ looking people, you’re getting pretty good at this--with no need necessarily to be very intelligent, which you are anyway, but at least you are very observant--”What’s wrong with that one?" you point out. "That person's fingers are all messed up. Does that person have a 'disease' also?”
---Or how about going back in time [you can do that...you’re a pretty intellectually advanced Alien from another galaxy] and taking a look at a person with a ‘disease’ uncommon to modern times, but quite common to society centuries ago..“My goodness...that one is all deformed! Looks terrible. Grotesque even. And look at that. There’s a lot of them...and it looks like they’ve all been put somewhere, isolated, away from all the other ‘normal’ looking people. What kind of ‘disease’ do they have?”
---...You guessed it...leprosy.
---That is interesting, as the Alien you are, your never having seen those people before and not being a doctor, yet with a little observation you can so readily differentiate between the 'normal' appearing people and the 'diseased' appearing ones...just by looking at them and noting the ones who look different?
---Ah, but then again, perhaps this is not necessarily so. For example, take a real killer disease (marked deleterious effects, but usually over a long period of time)...like high blood pressure. You as the Alien...you passed by a whole load of those 'diseased' people, at least those in the earlier stages which can last for decades.
---...You’re told...”You know...you just passed by about fifty people with a 'disease' we here on Earth call 'high blood pressure.'”
Alien: “Oh...I did? Which ones...let me see those people again.”
---You're playing the role of the Alien and shown the fifty people. After all, you might as well be an Alien, since Earth people somehow cannot manage to see these obvious things...Perhaps as an Alien you can!
---“Them?..." you say."They’ve got what?...high blood pressure? Is that also a ‘disease’ that you people get?”
Dr. Earthling [Medical Doctor Tour Guide from the Planet Earth]: “Yep.”
Alien: “So how come they look so normal?”
Dr. Earthling: “Well, on our planet, Planet Earth, while with some diseases you can look pretty bad, or at least different from the norm, in many other diseases you can look perfectly fine and still have a pretty bad underlying disease. Later on, down the line, often years later after there’s been a lot of damage internally to their vascular system and other organ systems, the kidneys and what not, then they begin to look really terrible, and get all sorts of complications, like strokes and ruptures of blood vessels...and their hearts can then begin to fail in what we call heart failure. Then they look pretty terrible. Then you’d have no trouble figuring out, just from looking at them, that they were pretty sick...and even on the verge of dying.”
Alien: “Okay...I see. Well...how about that one...that person?”
...Remember, you’re an Alien in your Alien spacecraft, gliding through the atmosphere looking down on Earth, and you’ve taken Dr. Earthling along with you as a knowledgeable tour guide, a supposedly knowledgeable medical doctor who knows much about Earthling ‘disease’ [...at least, so he smugly thinks to be so, while all the while trying to impress this Alien, you. Although, admittedly, he’s quite impressed with this special x-ray telescopic view which--as you are both gliding around in the upper atmosphere of Earth--enables the two of you to easily look down through the atmosphere, and down through solid objects and matter...through roof tops for example..even into houses and hospital bedrooms!]
Dr. Earthling: “Which person?...there’s a lot of them down there.” The Alien helps out by ‘zeroing in' with the x-ray telescopic sight, down into the bedroom of a typical house. “Do you see that woman lying in bed?...Her eyes are closed.”
Alien: “Yes...now I can see her. But she looks pretty normal, sleeping. Although her face does look a little sallowed, or gaunt, and she is breathing pretty heavy, and restlessly wriggling around in bed. Looks like she’s in some kind of pain or agony of some kind. But otherwise, nevertheless, she still looks pretty normal.”
Dr. Earthling (smugly trying to impress you, the Alien): “That’s right. She does look normal. But in her case...she’s got a very high fever. That’s why she’s so restless, almost delirious and exhausted. She’s on antibiotics and she’s fighting an infection. And she’s somewhat dehydrated. Probably needs more fluids.”
Alien: “Okay...I see. So the fact is, you Earthlings can have an infection and still look pretty normal. But while the infection is going on, although your appearance is just one of a little dehydration accounting for the sallowness in the face...on the other hand, the ‘disease’ is affecting your ability to 'function' normally. You’re weak and fatigued, and can hardly get out of bed...and burning up with fever.
---"In general, you just don’t feel good...but other than the restlessness and slight sallowness of the face, I couldn’t tell you were sick...I mean that this woman was sick...by merely looking at her. I’d probably think, like I said, that she’s just sleeping.”
Dr. Earthling (still with a smug, 'know-it-all' manner): “Yes...that’s right. On one hand, a 'diseased' person looks sick by his or her ‘abnormal’ appearance, while on the other a 'diseased' person might also look normal or relatively normal, and the 'disease' might just show up as slight headache or other symptom, as it might do so with high blood pressure.
---"Or the ‘diseased’ person, while on the one hand looking perfectly normal or almost normal, on the other hand might not be functioning normally. Perhaps listless, or extremely fatigued, or unable to walk properly from some 'disease' process or whatever. And sometimes there are no symptoms, such as aches and pains and other symptoms that patients often complain about.
---"So instead, we the medical doctors have to examine them for ‘signs’ of disease, for changes we as doctors have learned might indicate that there is a 'disease' going on. For example, we might have to check the blood pressure. The patient might be feeling fine and looking fine, but the 'sign' to us, as medical doctors, is that the blood pressure might be too high. So we treat them, usually with medication to lower the blood pressure, trying to offset the long range side effects.
---“Or, as in the case of this woman fighting this infection, we might have to take her temperature, an elevation of which is another 'sign' of disease, or we might have to check her blood chemistry. We might for example, find an elevated white blood cell count or sedrate, 'signs' that some type of infection might be going on, but not necessarily. That’s why we have to take a history and do a lot of tests, and then put them all together before we can come to a diagnosis, or conclusion, as to the nature of the 'disease' the person might have.
---"Then we can treat them for their disease, hopefully, with some kind of medication or whatever, or surgery, who knows. All kinds of things. (smugly again) We’ve got all kinds of sophisticated tests and treatments.”
Alien (head nodding in agreement): “Oh...I see.”
Dr. Earthling (proudly): “You see, here on Earth we have come a long way in medicine. Our medical scientific technology is of an advanced nature.”
Alien (humbly nodding head confidently): “I see...so in other words, when an Earthling is sick or ‘diseased,’ they can either look diseased by their abnormal appearance or abnormal ability to perform functions, like walking or whatever...or, if they don’t look sick, then they might have signs of disease which you as doctors have learned to check for, such as from a lump somewhere under the skin, or an abnormal blood test result. And sometimes, a person can have some kind of defect which shows up as both a symptom and as a sign.”
Dr. Earthling: “That’s right...(surprised the Alien figured that out, since Alien ‘know-how’ or not, this Earthling doctor thought he knew everything!)...that’s right...like being nauseous or having an ache or pain. On one hand, to the patient, it might be an annoying or severe 'symptom' that bothers them, while on the other hand, to the ‘learned’ medical doctor, with a proper history and physical exam, the symptom of nausea or aching or pain can also be a ‘sign’ to us as to the nature of the underlying disease and how to treat it."
Alien [...if you are still to play the ‘part’ of the alien in this little Scenario, from this point on you are going to have to be very observant and have a very open mind]: “I see...so tell me, how about that fella down there?” (pointing to a 25 year old male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, walking down the street, no functionally apparent disability, but physical appearance, totally overweight...rotund, especially since he weighs about 250 pounds.) “That one looks pretty 'sick' to me. He looks even worse than the Cushing 'diseased' person you showed me before.”
Dr. Earthling: “Oh no...that’s different. He’s just overweight...You see, we know that fat people can get diseases and become sick more readily than people who aren’t fat, generally speaking that is. But he simply has too much fat on his body. That’s all. Otherwise, he’s healthy. His blood pressure and all other tests are normal, and he can function like everyone else. He can run. Of course, he doesn’t move as well as people who are not as fat as he is, but that difference in his ability to walk or run fast, as with the agility of a thinner person, occurs just because he’s got too much fat on his body. That's all. Lose the fat...and he’d be fine.”
Alien (...with the appearance of curiosity, but really ‘playing’ with the ‘narrow-minded vision’ of this doctor): “Oh, I see...but didn’t you tell me that if an Earthling did not look normal, than that Earthling must therefore be sick or diseased? And this one certainly doesn’t look normal by any means...like I said, worse even than the person with Cushing’s Disease?”
Dr. Earthling (omnipotently): “Well, being overweight is different...practically everybody is overweight nowadays...well, not everybody, but many more Earthlings than used to be. He looks so abnormal only because he’s so grossly overweight for his height. But all kinds of normal Earthliings have varying degrees of fat accumulation on their bodies. And like I said, depending upon how fat an Earthling is, that is what might predispose that Earthling to an increased incidence of numerous diseases like high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease and stroke. But this is a young guy, only 25 years old. No. He just needs to lose weight. But he’s not 'diseased.'”
With that the observant Alien pushed a time-warp switch on his x-ray telescopic viewing machine so they could both get a good view of Ancient Man living in the wild, hundreds of thousands of years ago on the planet Earth. [...at least hundreds of thousands of years ago from the 'physical aspect' of our existence, but not from the 'mind related spiritual aspects' which, as I indicated elsewhere in this web site, is of more 'recent' origin, and believe it or not, the only means by which an 'Alien' could get to Planet Earth in the first place, via ‘non-physical non-dimensional modalities.’
If one were to attempt to make the trip at warp speed at the speed of light even, it would take four years to get to the nearest star (let alone to where the Alien comes from), and by that time, from the point of view of you in the spaceship, all of time and space would long ago have disappeared and the universe ended, if that were possible (and it isn’t). Sorry, but contrary to your current views and little science fiction stories which you’re heard repeatedly throughout your life, that’s just the way it really is. Even Einstein’s theories back it up, and in this regard, at least (although not in all respects as you’ll see elsewhere on this web site), Einstein’s theories are correct.
...We might be more comfortable then, in relating to those Aliens, as we might to an ‘angel’...
Dr Earthling (startled by the sudden change in view): “What did you do? Where did Earth go?”
Alien: “You’re looking at it...at your ancestors from hundreds of thousands of years ago. I would point out that you’ve inherited your physical genetic structure from them. So to know about yourself, you really have to take a look at their lifestyle, at the way they lived and at what they looked like, and at how they interacted in and with their surrounding environment. For it is the way they have lived that has changed their genetic structure accordingly, to the point wherein your genes today are related to their genes and the way they lived way back then.”
Earthling: “Oh...I know that. That’s just simple genetics. High school and college kids know that sort of stuff. But I tell you the truth, I never really gave it much thought. I’ve always figured, they’re primitive people...and we’re advanced nowadays. So what could we learn from them?”
Alien (looking down at thousands of Ancient People moving about in the hilly plains of a jungle-like atmosphere): “Well...take a look...” (a few minutes of observation go by...) ...“what do you see...any fat people?”
Dr. Earthling: “No...(surprisingly)...they’re all thin...all of them.”
Alien: “Tell me more...”
Dr. Earthling (still sort of shocked): “Actually, it’s pretty amazing...I guess if I would have thought about it, I might have realized long ago what I am first seeing and realizing now. But the fattest person has just a slight layer of fat around the mid-section, maybe just a half inch or so. That is sort of unbelievable. The fattest Ancient Man is thin!”
Alien: “...and tell me about their food.”
Dr. Earthling: “Well, I see one group of them sitting around...Looks like they have some food they’re eating, but not much of it. Mostly vegetables and fruits they must have gathered from the land. One group is sitting around a fire. Looks like they’re ripping their teeth at something tough...eating a piece of meat they pulled from an animal which, looks like, they had just killed.
Alien (pushing another switch): “What do you see now?...”
Dr. Earthling: “Wow...you just switched to a different time of year! Now there is nothing but snow on the ground, and barren, leafless trees...No vegetation...I see a couple of small little footprints in the snow, from what looks like it must have been a small animal...but really, no animals nor people are to be seen...
Alien: “And now?...”
Dr. Earthling: “And now...now I can see into a cave. There’s some people there..huddled together by a little fire...Some are outside the cave though, gathering twigs of wood for the fire it looks like...
Alien: “...and food?”
Dr. Earthling: “...not much food...just some...what looks like...dried up food lying upon a flat rock...I guess we do take refrigeration for granted nowadays...and the people are just sitting around and taking their turns at taking from the dried pieces of food on the flat rock, and eating the food...”
Alien: “How do the people look?...”
Dr. Earthling: “Well, they look pretty wiry, and their muscles are all showing...but now that it's apparently winter, they have even less fat than before...not even the half inch of fat I saw before on the mid-sections of the other people living in the plains of the jungle-like atmosphere.”
Alien: “Well yes...you’re seeing your ancestors as they looked toward the latter parts of the winter months, wherein they’d been living in the warmth of the caves for months now, just to be able to survive the cold...with whatever food they managed to salvage and preserve during the warm summer months, and by drying it out. And in large part, they’ve been living off the small fat they had accumulated around their mid-sections by the end of the summer...but very little even then...and now that little bit of fat is pretty much all gone...sort of like a bear hibernating and living off its fat...actually, the same thing just about!”
Dr. Earthing: “Well...I’ll be...not an overweight person among them! Actually, an average looking trimmed down person of nowadays, even one looking 'good' in clothes, would look ‘fat’ compared to them...(scratching his head in amazed curiosity)...well, I’ll be.”
Alien: “Now...here’s what I’m gonna do...(pushing another switch)...What do you see now?
Dr. Earthling: “I can’t believe it...you just snatched a modern day mildly overweight person right out of our ‘Present,’ and plucked him down and placed him into the ‘Past’ hundreds of thousands of years ago...bared down to his briefs and standing alone...dumbfounded and shivering with fear, having found himself amidst these Ancient people we've been looking at, in the midst of them...and during the summer months, in the plains of the jungle -like atmosphere.
---"And they’re all screaming and pointing at him...They’re in a frenzy...looks like they’re frightened of him...and now he’s screaming! This is terrible what you did. He’s trying to run now, but he can’t hardly. He keeps falling down and scraping his feet in the thorns and bushes. And now they’re following after him...cautiously. But they’re not falling down...even though stepping on the same bushes that he’s been getting all scratched up by...I guess they're used to it. So, why did you do this? This is terrible!”
Alien: “It’s not going to last. I’ll put him back into the Present soon. And when he returns he'll just think it was all just a bad dream. But, tell me, what do you see now?...”
Dr. Earthling: “I see that he's still frantically trying to get away from them...but he ‘s getting out of breath...and huffing away...I can hear his heart pounding...How are you doing that? How can I hear that? They're so far away!”
Alien: X-ray telescopic magnified augmentation of sound technology!...that’s something that...
Dr. Earthling: “Don't tell me...I know...That’s something that Aliens can do.”
Alien: “Now what do you see?...”
Dr. Earthling: “Well...now. Looks like he exhausted himself out...and they’re cautiously surrounding him, and still pointing at him...and shouting at him...all kinds of screaming noises going on...looks like they’re afraid of him...”
Alien: “...sort of like he a ‘leper’ to them, perhaps?
Dr. Earthling: “Yeah...that’s right. To them...he’s totally abnormal in appearance. Disgustingly abnormal! ‘Diseased!’ Sort of like the person with leprosy was 'diseased' and scary to look at in primitive societies hundreds of years ago! Goodness...it’s just hitting me now...his appearance is not just abnormal and alien to them...it’s alien to our genes, because our genes and the way they work comes directly from Ancient Man and the way Ancient Man lived and functioned and appeared in their natural habitat hundreds of thousands of years ago, and more.”
Alien: (pushing another switch) What do you see now?
Dr. Earthling: You just snatched him back from the past and placed him back, walking down an average busy modern day street, with a whole bunch of people walking about. He’s got his clothes back on...and he looks sort of dazed and dumbfounded. He just sat down on a bench like he’d had some kind of nightmare or something.
Alien: Well...how does he look otherwise...his appearance?
Dr. Earthling: Well I’ll be...he fits right in with everybody else!...My goodness. It’s just hitting me now. All these so-called normal looking people...they’re all ‘diseased’ looking, at least ‘diseased’ relative to Ancient Man. They all look fat, even the thin ones, and frail, and their faces parched, and hardly are they robust and strong and vibrant looking like Ancient Man.
Alien: “...and?”
Dr. Earthling: “Well, I guess it’s because we are all so uniformly out of shape, not just overweight I now realize, and not strong looking like Ancient Man, and robust and vigorous like Ancient Man...like our ancestors...it’s because we’re all so uniformly that way that we don’t realize we’re all really diseased!
Alien: “...and what about the modern day person, gaunt face kind of thing, always exercising and doing aerobics to the point of an unhealthy and ‘too thin’ look?”
Dr. Earthling: “Well...I guess it’s obvious. Those Ancient People were very thin...but hardly gaunt or too thin. I guess because they looked strong and robust...and I guess that’s because nowadays our idea of exercise is so limited and primitive. I guess it would explain why people who primarily exercise via a treadmill and jogging, which most people think to do nowadays to be ‘healthy’...they often end up being ‘unhealthy’ in other ways not commonly recognized nowadays, and which are often concealed, unfortunately, behind the commonly recognized beneficial cardiovascular benefits. And I’m not talking here about just being too fat when it comes to numerous other deleterious conditions of the body which have often gone unrecognized as such. If anything, modern man is hardly robust and as vital looking as the lean, robust and strong and vibrant looking people of Ancient times!”
With that, Dr. Earthling began to show the Alien what Earthlings looked like who were over about 45 years of age, right up on to very old ages, like the seventies and eighties and beyond. Then the Alien, quick learned as he is, took one of those decrepit and deteriorated older people, let’s say a seventy-five year old person, whose body appearance and ability to perform the basic functions of walking, etc were hardly what they were in the younger age group, but an older person who, by all medical parameters and tests was ‘healthy’ (normal blood pressure, normal blood tests, etc)...and placed that old person amidst a group of long-lived people living today, like the Hunzas living in the mountains of Pakistan.
---...There are numerous such long-lived populations in the world today, not just the Hunzas, populations that are hardly ever publicized to the public, but who have been living the way they have been living, and long-aged, for centuries.
Alien: “What do you think now?”...now that the Alien had placed a typical modern day, but ‘old aged’ yet ‘healthy’ individual, among a similar ‘old aged’ group of people, but among a group of individuals who normally live within a modern day long-lived population of people like the Hunzas living in the hills of Pakistan.
Dr. Earthling: “Well I’ll tell you...when the 75 year old is walking around, not among the Hunzas, but among other medically ‘healthy’ (by modern day standards) 75 year olds in a modern day society...well, they all look the same, deteriorated in both appearance and functional abilities.
Alien: “...So being that all their medical tests are normal...Go on...”
Dr. Earthling: “So being that all their modern day medical tests are normal, we attribute their deteriorated appearance and functional incapabilities in large part to that of what we have incorrectly termed ‘old age.’
Alien: “But when one of them is placed amidst the long-lived population of people?...”
Dr. Earthling: “...Well, when a modern-day ‘healthy’ 75 year old is placed amidst a similar seventies and eighties year old group of long-lived people living in the world today, like the Hunzas of Pakistan, who look and function decades younger than the modern day typical seventy-five year old of our modern day civilized and urbanized societies...in such a situation, I would have no choice but to agree that the modern-day so-called ‘healthy’ seventy-five year old, actually looks ‘sick’ and ‘diseased’!
Alien: “It appears that on your Planet Earth, because you are all so uniformly following a lifestyle totally alien to your genetic ancestral heritage, you are inappropriately taking many of the signs and symptoms of your inappropriate lifestyle and attributing them to, and calling them by the name ‘aging.’ In a very real sense then, you complacently, like cows being led to the slaughter...you naively accept the changes of old age no matter how devastating they are, and you do so simply because you naively and ignorantly believe you cannot do anything about them (those changes)...
---...and then ironically--the crying shame of it all--at the same time you will take a relatively normal appearing person, both in physical appearance and functional capability--who perhaps just happens to have some few signs hardly comparable to the devastating signs of ‘lifestyle disease’ and ‘aging,’ and you go bonkers, and panic that you are ‘diseased’...like you do so for high blood pressure, or other such similar diseases, and which for the most part, are really just the tip of the iceberg, an inkling of a beginning, when compared to what you are routinely doing to yourself, and to how you are destroying yourself, from 'lifestyle disease'!
---The bottom line. The real ‘disease,’ the cause of it all, is ‘lifestyle disease,’ and which for the most part is the cause of most all the diseases you are concerned about...from the ‘unseen’ high blood pressure, to the ‘seen’ and ‘felt’ arthritis, to the ‘felt’ and later in the course of the disease ‘seen’ diabetes, heart disease, and even many cancers, and many of the autoimmune diseases, and dementias and emotional and mental illnesses, to the tune of hundreds and thousands of physical and mental diseases that you are routinely dying from. And sometimes you worry about them and are afraid of them, as when you are having their signs or symptoms, while at other times you are oblivious to them, as when you are not in the throes of experiencing their symptoms.
---But when it comes to your lifestyle and ‘lifestyle disease’ [brought about, sorry to say, in large part even by the so-called ‘healthy lifestyles’ being advocated today which are okay, but hardly effective when compared to that which I am talking about]...when it comes to this simple term ‘lifestyle disease’ [new to you but not what it represents--the way you live from day to day]...when it comes to 'lifestyle disease,' you think nothing of it...and so you eventually succumb to and die from it in massive amounts, ignorant to your having done yourself in...like cows gleefully being led to their slaughter.
Definition of Lifestyle Disease: those signs and symptoms, or that deteriorated or compromised condition of the body both physically and mentally, which occurs secondary to not living life and following a lifestyle in accordance with the directives of the ancestral heritage of our underlying genetic structure...our genes.
---In a nutshell then, you see, and on an average, we’ve all inherited the genes to live longer and healthy lives than we do. It’s just that in our narrow-minded ignorance as to the truth of these matters, we have committed ourselves to premature deterioration, disease and aging in much greater amounts, and sooner than otherwise are the underlying directives of our genes.
---The fact is, the average genes that the average person has inherited are geared toward living our lives decades longer, and toward living healthier and more robust lives than we do, and which hardly ever get to be manifested simply because, instead, we are hedonistically bent on prematurely killing ourselves!
------------
---I would point out that of recent years the medical community has begun to re-categorize late onset diabetes as a syndrome, deleting the term 'disease,' and regrouping it along with other symptoms, such as those of high blood pressure and elevated blood lipid levels, etc, by bundling them all together under the new designation, 'metabolic syndrome.’
---Woopie...how insightful of them. They should have realized that eons ago! To shame.
---...Not meaning to sound haughty in any way, because I am not so, but I am ticked off that so many people have had to die for lack of the kind of knowledge being presented on this web site which is yet to be studied and sifted through and which would then eventually save millions of lives...but which sorrowfully will still take decades to do so because of the narrow-minded and apparent lack of interest of man.
---For you see, for the medical community to have finally just begun to acknowledge terms like 'metabolic syndrome' in exchange for diabetes and other 'diseases' is not even the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what I'm talking about and presenting on this web site. It's in the right direction, but eons away...and it shouldn't be, for it could have been figured out eons ago!
---...Perhaps I can speed things up, with a little ‘help’ of course...
...And as to where that ‘help’ comes from is pretty much a giveaway, as can be seen from my home page photo wherein I am outdoors and looking up. After all, having read the little Scenario I related to you above, you now know...to slow your mind down...to take a deep breath, and set yourself back...and to then think...really think...
...as far-fetched as things might seem to be, the answers are within the scope of your gaze...and right to the front of your face...
----------
By the way, if you wondered why I, as a medical doctor, would present myself as I have done so in a number of the photos on this web site (as in the photo of me on the home page of Dr. Alterwein.com, shirt off, outdoors and looking up), perhaps you’ll now look at it for what it really represents. For, to look fit in the thirties and perhaps even the forties, is one thing, and perhaps no big deal, although granted, even at these ages, to be able to do so is not necessarily an easy task...
...But to do so in the sixties, especially in the face of severe underlying cardiovascular disease to boot, well...simply observe, as if you were the Alien...or an angel even, uncorrupted by the numerous distractions of our physical reality...whence comes from or exists at the level of your soul, and has the sight to see...
...Ah, but that’s another story, and which we’ll get to. But first, one thing at a time. Let’s first see what lies herein, from all that has been presented, and what can be seen...in our physical world. Then on to the non-dimensional nature of the source of our true, but underlying and ethereal reality...from whence ‘all that is’ derives. If you were simply to ‘believe’ and ‘make the effort to put enough things together,’ who would ever be so narrow-minded and naive as to question or to think that you couldn’t figure things out?...
After all, the reality in which we find ourselves existing...it is ‘something,’ isn’t it, by virtue of the simple fact that we
experience it? And if it’s ‘something’...well then, rest assured, as I said, with a little help...it can surely be figured out...
Perhaps we can do so...together...

Lifestyle Disease Scenarios Introduction
Scenario One / Scenario Two
